MINIATURE DALMATIANS...
Are a compact size, city dwelling, "Dalmatian Lover’s” dream come true. Our Miniature Dalmatians come with all of the great characteristics and conformation of AKC Champion Dalmatians and are only 12”-15” at the withers. They average 15 - 25 pounds at maturity. This new breed of Dalmatian is the first of its kind in the entire world. Meticulously developed over the last 30 years by Gene Connell, a veteran breeder of AKC Standard Dalmatians. They are a must see for all breeders and canine enthusiasts around the world. If you’d like to read Mr. Connell’s memoir about the development of the breed, it's a wonderful story available from Amazon - A New Beginning: The Miniature Dalmatian Story, by Col. Gene Connell. |
ABOUT US
Mascot Dalmatians was established by Mr. Gene Connell, Master Dog Breeder, in 1987. After many years of research, he implemented his dream of developing the only “Miniature Dalmatians” in the world. After breeding standard Dalmatians for 10 years, Gene began his endeavor by breeding AKC Champion, Standard Dalmatians and slowly bred them down in size over 25 years. He dedicated his life to creating this spectacular breed. Unfortunately, Gene crossed the “Rainbow Bridge” himself, in February of 2019. Before doing so, he and his wonderful Connell Family members, made a decision to pass this incredible opportunity on to my husband Robb and me. We could not be more honored, grateful, and proud to carry on Gene’s legacy, and follow in his footsteps. We will do everything in our power to continue to breed and supply you with the most healthy and very well cared for Miniature Dalmatians. As of 2020, thanks also to Gene, we are carrying on his goal of incorporating “LUA Dalmatians” into our breeding program. We’re pleased to announce that we are expecting our 10th litter of "LUA" Miniature Dalmatians in February of 2023. Mascot Dalmatians will, from this day forward, be operating as MiniatureDalmatians.com LLC.

What Our Clients Are Saying
I can't thank Rebecca and Robb enough for their professionalism and care as we welcomed a new member of the family. I'd been looking for the right dog for months, and sorted through plenty of pushy people that care more about their bottom line than the individual needs of the dog. Not so with Rebecca and Robb. On our first call, Rebecca spent more than an hour telling me about the breed, the dogs' individual personalities, how the dogs will be best taken care of, about the history of the breed and plantation, and what bringing a mini dalmatian into your life will entail. She did all this without ever trying to sell the dog — she wants prospective buyers to know everything they need to know, then decide for themselves. I am so happy with Jasper (formerly Horace). I could not have asked for a better fit. Every dog is different, but one thing is clear of Cherry Hill Plantation dogs: they are raised in an environment of love and care. Jasper was friendly and loving from the moment we brought him home. We've enjoyed teaching him tricks and giving him all the love and bellyrubs he deserves. I only have one word of warning for prospective mini dalmatian owners: you will be stopped during walks all the time, as people gush over your beautiful pup and ask all about the breed. You'll definitely make friends in the neighborhood. Thank you, Rebecca and Robb, and the entire Cherry Hill Plantation team, for taking amazing care of Jasper until he found his forever home. We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family.

Wanted to let you know that we are enjoying our puppy so much. She is so full of life and is so funny to watch. We bought her several toys and she lives playing with them. The first night, she slept in her kennel and the second night she slept all night in her little bed we got for her. She is doing so well and is the most beautiful puppy and perfect puppy for us. Thank you so much for suggesting her to be ours. I truly will forever be thankful that I found you and your breed of this beautiful dog. Sincerely,
Randall L. Sluder
I just wanted to say thank you for my dream dog! She is the best. She is so smart and spunky, and she loves everyone! It was such a great experience buying a dog from you that I will definitely do it again in the future! You made me a believer in your mini and toy dals.

Although Gene is gone now, his legacy lives on with the amazing creation of the Miniature Dalmatian. Gene was a very good friend to me. I cared a great deal about him. I have had two miniature Dalmatians over the years from Gene. He was always there to help me with Baxter and Oddball when I had questions about them. Oddball lived for 14 years and unfortunately Baxter only lived for five years which absolutely crushed my heart. I miss him so much. He was such a sweet little boy. He developed an extremely rare disease that affected his intake of proteins and he didn’t make it. Gene was there for me when he passed away. Losing Gene was very tough as well. He was a great person and a good friend. I know he’s up there watching over Oddball and Baxter. I must say having miniature Dalmatians has been quite an experience in my life. I will never forget either one of them. They were like my kids. They were two of the smartest dogs I have ever had in my life. And what company and fun they always were. If you are thinking of getting one of these little angels from Sale City, Ga., you won’t be disappointed. It sure does hurt when it’s time for them to go to heaven though. But that’s part of life. I definitely assure you that you will never have a better dog than one of Genes miniature Dalmatians. God Bless you Gene. Say hi to Baxter and Oddball.
